Serving as your Representative has been an amazing honor. I am unapologetically pro-Milwaukee. We are the economic engine of Wisconsin. One of my continued priorities is to realign the relationship between the State and our community. To me this means giving us the tools to be more successful, to invest more at the neighborhood level, and to partner with our community to tackle the very real challenges that do exist. The only way forward is together. I hope you will join me in the effort. I ask for your vote. Thank you!

Wisconsin’s 18th District

The 18th District is Wisconsin’s most diverse Assembly District, encompassing neighborhoods on Milwaukee’s North and West sides. From Sherman Park to Washington Heights and the Valley Park to Avenues West, the 18th Assembly District is a vibrant patchwork of historic neighborhoods, iconic institutions, and amazing people.

Issues

Elections are the beginning not the end. Enacting good public policy and budgeting, efforts that help lift and unite our neighbors, is the true goal of serving in elected office.

From Healthcare to Education, Criminal Justice reform to funding Local Governments, our State has an awesome set of responsibilities and opportunities. How we decide to govern ourselves can change lives. These issues are not mere campaign promises, but honest commitments to seek progress for our community and those directly impacted.

In the news

I’ve collected some of the stories that provide a different view of the legislative work I’ve been a part of. I will also try to tell the story behind the headline. Changing the law is difficult and often slow and what appears in one story is often the culmination of years of work and determination.
